I don't really know if my wedding was really unique. However when we were planning it, we had to keep getting engraveable items that could easily be covered up, if need be, since my future hubby was deployed and the date of his return kept getting pushed back, we thought we may have to push back the date of the wedding also, but thankfully we didn't. He came home and the wedding went as planned. :)

All weddings are unique to the Bride. The dress is what sets it apart.

I have been to a few unique weddings....

A friend a few years ago had men painted like statues (gold ones) that stood near the buffet and scared the crap out of people...lol...

A friend this past fall had a wedding at a church that was still being renovated...they had to be creative to make sure no one could see the bride since she had to go THROUGH the church to get to the back to start the procession down the aisle....they used a brown sheet and the bridesmaids held it up.....it worked out....

My wedding (3/26/10) was very unique! Nearly everything was handmade by myself & my bridesmaids - the invitations, butterfly confetti, bouquets & boutonniers, centerpieces, even the food!

My wedding was unique because of our location. We had it at an old plantation and the reception site was a remodeled barn. It was one of the coolest venues ever. We got so many compliments on the location.
